Tanzania 'Tarime' | Single Origin
Description: The Tanzania Tarime is an absolute house favourite! Recently one of our guest coffees which made such an impression on our team we decided to make it a permanent addition. These beans offer a fruity edge to accompany the smooth caramel notes which make for a well rounded and undeniably impressive flat white.
Close to the border of Kenya, lies Tarime, a small municipality with washing station nearby serving the smallholders in the nearby surroundings. On average, each producer will have 1-2 acres, (less than one hectare) and farms are generally shared with other cash crops and subsistence foods. Natural processed coffees are common in the area, but once the cherries have been processed at the wet mill they are shipped to Moshi for hulling and sorting, grading and packing.
