When should we send your coffee?
The first Little Fin blend to hit the website is the aptly named 'Black Gold'. A combination of the hard hitting Columbian Laguna and the subtle smoothness of a Guatemalan bean gives this a beautiful well balanced flavour. Again we feel this is best for espresso when roasted closer to a medium roast than a dark. This is an absolute favourite and would be our roasters choice for Espresso coffee. Weight: 200g, 500g, 1KG Origin: Columbia Laguna, Guatemala SHB Washed: Yes Tasting Notes: Blueberry and chocolate

Sorry to say it, but a bit disappointing.

Not the “kick” or strength I would expect from an Espresso. Slight metallic aftertaste.

Good morning Laurence. I’m sorry you didn’t get the best out of this amazing coffee. As you can see, 20 people before you gave it a 5 star rating and it’s also our most popular wholesale coffee, enjoyed by hundreds of people every day. Perhaps you could have messaged us if you thought something was wrong?

There are a number of reasons why your coffee may taste metallic which include hard water, too finer grind, preparation, extraction amongst others. I’m happy to discuss and improve your experience. Drop us a message.

    A nice traditional coffee

A very respectable classic espresso blend with a twist from the fruity, sweetly acidic guatemalan bean.

    Black gold espresso new customer

Having recently bought an espresso machine after having had a capsule machine for 8 years we have only just started drinking the Black Gold coffee as we had some capsules to finish first. It tastes good.

    Great tasting coffee

Good service. The coffee tastes great but the actual grind was a bit too coarse for espresso. Worked very well with the pressurized basket though. I can't wait to try another one.
