Black Gold | Blend
The first Little Fin blend to hit the website is the aptly named 'Black Gold'. A combination of hard-hitting Colombian, blended with the subtle smoothness of high-altitude Guatemalan gives this a beautiful coffee a well-balanced, yet wholesome flavour.
This is an absolute favourite and would be our roasters choice for espresso.
Tasting Notes: Blueberry and chocolate
Weight: 200g, 500g, 1KG
Origin(s): Columbia, Guatemala
With bigger companies you would normally fool yourself into thinking its a safer bet, and your purchases come with guarantees of quality and a good level of customer service. For some companies that may be true but for most in my experience this is not the case. However, I challenge you to try and beat the “Little Fins” as my experience with these guys is just out of this world. Coffee beans are roasted to perfection, taste is sublime and customer service second to none. As soon as you smell the packet you know you chose well!
Had to wait until our old beans ran out before we could try this. Was this worth the wait! Yes yes yes. Medium strength with no bitterness. We drink it with frothed milk (don’t judge) so this would affect the strength but we love it. We have a new bean to cup coffee maker and have been looking for the perfect coffee bean. We’ve found it.
Thank you Sue, I'm glad you found us, will try and not keep Mr LH chatting too long about dogs when I next deliver!
Still trying to dial in , sage bambino plus, absolute beginner!🙃
Hi Paul, feel free to drop me an email if you have any issues and I can give you a few pointers to help you get the best out the coffee :-) Little Fin
Finbari was my favourite coffee from Little Fin Roastery but when that became unavailable Black Gold blend is a consistent happy second choice, it's uplifting flavour gives a real aaahhhh moment after the first sip :-)
Thank you Bernie, I will be looking at trying to bring back the original Finbari, or as close as I can get to it! Watch this space :-) I'm glad you are enjoying this coffee :-) Little Fin
A really delicious bean, and a really friendly and passionate independent roastery
